Abington YMCA 2009 Dance Class Schedule

The Abington YMCA now offer classes at various times to better suit the needs of our members. Particapants will find out the attire that is needed from the instructor when starting.

Pre-Dance Class (Ages 3-4) Class Code: 03124

This class will give you an introduction to dance and creative movement. With our fun and exciting approach to teaching dance your child will learn the basics of ballet, jazz and other fun dance moves. No experience necessary for this class.

Kinder Dance (Age 5) Class Code: 03124

Does your child love dancing at home? This class is designed for the child who has little dance experience and wants to go to the next level! We will teach your child various types of dancing such as ballet, jazz, hip hop while having a fun time at the same time. Parents are welcomed to stay in the class and observe.

Youth Combo Dance (Ages 6-8) Class Code: 03124

This is a beginner class that will allow our youth to have a good time while learning about balle, jazz, tap, hip hop, modern and other types of dance while listening to some of the hottest hits that are out.

Pre-Hip Hop (Ages 3-4) Class Code: 03123

Do you often see your child dancing to the radio? This class will teach your child some cool hip hop moves will listening to the newest music that is out! children will also do various types of group games in this class. Parents are welcome to join in our sit in and watch!

Junior Hip Hop (Ages 6-10) Class Code: 03123

Your child will LOVE this class! Our teacher will have the children learn the basics of the dance moves and then combine all of the moves into a routine. All of our music is clean edited and music that your child will love. This class has very limited space and fills very quickly.
