20-20-20

This innovative class includes a combination of 20 minutes of cardio, 20 minutes of toning using body bars and dumbbells, and 20 minutes of abs and stretching. Step on in and join us for this fun and exciting workout.

 

Active Older Adults (AOA) Pilates

This is a low impact class for Active Older Adults. This class is designed to increase core strength and flexibility plus align the mind and body. Series of movements are linked with the breath and performed from a sitting, reclining or standing position and may include equipment such as stability balls, resistant bands, and weights.

 

Active Older Adults (AOA) Yoga

Build strength and flexibility, reduce stress and tension and increase your overall health, energy and vitality in this high-energy, self-pacing class. Use of props may ease participants into gentle stretches that will increase balance, flexibility and range of motion.

 

Body Combat

BODYCOMBAT™ is a non-combat, martial arts-based fitness program with moves drawn from Karate, Tae Kwan Do, Kung Fu, kickboxing, Muay Thai and Tai Chi. Each 55-minute BODYCOMBAT™ class is choreographed to 10 tracks of the latest music, providing an exhilarating exercise experience that delivers ultra-fast fitness results.

  

Body Pump

BODYPUMP™ is the fastest way to shape up and lose body fat. It’s a toning and conditioning class with weights and is for just about everybody who wants to add strength training into their aerobic workout. The simplicity of the class makes BODYPUMP™ a great starting point to develop strength and confidence. Hot sounds and compelling choreography keep you going through each 45-minute or one-hour workout. You’ll use a step platform, a bar and a set of weights.

 

Boot Camp

Become the YMCA's newest fitness recruit with our NEW 45 minute Boot Camp Fitness Class! Come give your old workout routine the high intensity boost it has been looking for. With a combination of calisthenics, cardio, and strength, this class is a sure way to get the benefits of a personal trainer while building comradeship in a group environment!

 

Dance Aerobics

Done to lively music.  This  co-ed program for intermediate/advanced members of any age. Dance Aerobics is a vigorous enjoyable aerobic exercise program, including muscle toning for a super overall workout. 

 

Karate     

Our Japanese Shotokan Karate emphasizes skills of self-control and discipline for all students. You’ll learn kicks, punches and blocking while increasing physical conditioning, strength, and flexibility. Develop mental focus and build confidence as you work out through this martial arts mind/body discipline. Advancement through all belts is available.   Instructor:  Michael Justiniano

 

Pilates

This mind-body workout focuses on strengthening the core muscles (abdominals, low back, and gluts), with an emphasis on the abdominals and breathing.  A variety of exercises designed for beginner to advanced will enhance your own body awareness, posture, strength, and flexibility. This safe exercise program will leave you feeling relaxed and invigorated.  

 

Personal Training

Our Personal Training Program provides specialized, one-on-one training by certified instructors to meet the needs of our members. Personal attention will guide you to a healthier body, mind, and spirit. This exercise program is designed based on your personal goals and your current level of fitness. Your personal trainer will work with you to optimize your physical and mental well-being , while teaching you techniques to help fit exercise into your busy schedule.

 

Super Trim

This 45-minute class starts with a warm-up, then covers the entire body, working all muscle groups with resistance training using weights and bands.  This conditioning class ends with awesome abs and a final stretch.  Remember that a well-toned body burns more calories at rest!

 

Yoga

This class challenges the body and mind through strengthening, stretching, relaxing, and breathing.  A gentle warm-up begins this class, easing into various postures with an emphasis on conscious breathing.  Flexibility, strength, and muscle tone will continually improve as your mind, body, and spirit work together in harmony. Please bring your own yoga mat.

 

ZUMBA

Zumba combines high energy and motivating music with unique moves and combinations that allow the ZUMBA participants to dance away their worries.  It is based on the principle that a workout should be “FUN AND EASY TO DO” allowing ZUMBA participants to stick to the ZUMBA Fitness program and achieve long-term health benefits.  ZUMBA is a “feel-happy” workout that is great for both the body and the mind.
