Cost: $45 FPM and $90 for Program Members – for 7 week sessions
Rookies Sports
Is a precompetitive sports program for 4-7 year ikd vits and girls. Its primary objective is to help children learn the basic rules, skills, and tactics of the sport. Parent involvement is encouraged, coachng, opportunities are avaiable. each child will recieve a team shirt and participation award.
Basketball (ages 3-5)
Focusing on imporving the child's motor skills while reaching the basic fundamentals of the game. Sportsmanship and teamwork will also be emphasized during this program. Class is taught by the YMCA’s own John Williams.
Tuesdays 6:15pm—7:00pm
Saturdays 10:15am—11am
Winners Sports
Offers the same benefits as rookies but focuses on enhanced skill development in basketball and healthy competition. Class is taught by the YMCA’s own John Williams.
Mondays 6:15pm—7:30pm

Basketball ages 6-10)
Shotokan Karate
(Martial Arts ) - ages 5 to adult B/I
Develops your mind, body, and spirit through discipline, flexibility, and breathing techniques. Builds self confidence, and teaches practical self defense techniques. No experience needed. Class is taught by Mr. Wayne.
Tuesdays, 6:15pm—7:30pm
Saturday, 9:00am—10:00am
Volunteer Coaches Needed
Be a mentor to young athletes. We are looking for dedicated individuals looking to help kids learn to play a variety of sports. Your role as a coach is to help support our staff during drills and then to lead the team during games ensuring every child has an equal opportunity to play and learn, provide leadership and serve as a role model for proper sportsmanship and character development. For the safety of our children, all volunteer coaches are required to undergo a criminal background and child abuse clearance checks (paid for by the Y) as well as attend a coaches training.
Teen and Tween Nights
Get your friends together and come to the YMCA on the listed Saturday of the month from 7pm – 10pm! Have fun playing sports and games, competing in contests, going swimming, dancing with your friends, and much, much more! Contact Kristen at ext 1702 for more information.
