The Christian Street YMCA is for everyone! Adults in particular have a wide range of opportunities to persue better physical fitness and well being in spirit, mind and body. These opportunities extend from the Aerobics Room to the Spinning Studio to the Swimming Pool and beyond! Abs & Glutes
A workout focusing on strengthening the abdominals and lower back. Core muscle training promotes proper posture and movement, aiding in the prevention of injury

Aerobics / Total Body Conditioning
This class will help you take your workout to the next level. Using weights, core strength, and mat work combined with cardio bursts, this class works out your total body.

Adult Beginner Swim Lessons
This class is for adult with little water experience, the focus will be on comfort placing face in the water learning breath techniques and floatation as well as skills for the deep water.
Adult Intermediate Swim Lessons
This class is for individuals who can swim, but cannot swim efficiently with face in the water, or those needing to learn backstroke, breaststroke and become comfortable with deep water.
Stroke Mechanics
For swimmers looking to improve their techniques and workout in the pool. Swimmers will receive stroke mechanic instruction and learn how to use swimming tools such as (kickboard, pull buoy and fins) at the end of this program most swimmers will be able to design their own workout schedule.
Arthritis Aquatics
Taught in conjunction with the Arthritis Foundation, this class focuses on range of movement, joint strength and flexibility. It is also good for those recovering from joint injuries and replacements.

Water Aerobics
Water areobics will have you moving from head to toe and enjoying every second of our intense workouts. The instructor will teach from the water and from the pool desk at times throughout the class.

Yoga
This beautiful ancient system uses the practice of postures, proper breathing and concentration techniques, which teach the Yoga student to focus on the spirit, mind and body.

Line Dancing
This program is design to help you incorporate line dancing into a form of aerobic activity. This fun way of working out helps relieves stress, weight loss and can even sharpen memory skills. Learn basic steps for various dances including Marvin Gay Walk, Personality, Cha-cha Slide and more. No experience necessary.
