Child Watch

children 6 weeks to 12 years of age

HOURS OF OPERATION:
8:30am - 1:00pm   Monday - Saturday
5:15pm - 8:15pm   Monday - Thursday
10:00am - 2:00pm Sunday

Maximum occupancy is 24 children with a maximum of 6 infants at a time.  A child under 12 months old or who is unable to walk will be classified as an infant.  Children are not permitted to roam the facility unsupervised.  Maximum time allowed per child is 2 hours per visit.  No registration required.  Our program operates on a first come first serve basis.  If you are in a class which runs until 8:15pm, please return to the Child Watch Room immediately following the class to pick up your child... Thank You!

NEW - DAILY ACTIVITY SCHEDULE IN CHILD WATCH:

Monday - Book Bonanza - Children are invited to bring in a favorite book from home or to choose from one of the many books in the Child Watch Room. The children can read on their own or they may allow the Child Watch Staff to read aloud so all can enjoy!
A guest storybook reader will be invited to join us between 10:00-11:00am.
Our Child Watch Room also has a BOOK EXCHANGE…  Children can bring in an old book from home which they no longer want and can choose another book from our selection to take home in its place….for keeps!!

Tuesday & Thursday - Games & Puzzles - In addition to the many games, boardpuzzles & word puzzles in the Child Watch Room, Children are encouraged to bring in their own from home to share in the fun with our Child Watch Team as well as with the other children in the room.
Games can be used  as a great educational tool and can help with social growth.  Friendly competition and good sportsmanship are encouraged!!

Wednesday - Arts & Crafts - We provide the art supplies & the children provide their imaginations!!

Friday - Fitness Fun! - SIMON SAYS, DUCK DUCK GOOSE, HIDE AND SEEK, RING AROUND THE ROSEY, LIMBO, JUMPROPE, BALL PLAY, DANCING, HULA HOOP, HOPSCOTCH, TUG OF WAR, MUSICAL CHAIRS AND MORE!!!
...FOR ADDITIONAL FUN, CHILDREN AGES 2-5 CAN ENROLL IN THE "LITTLE GYMERS" GYM CLASS HELD ON FRIDAY MORNINGS IN THE GYM!! REGISTRATION REQUIRED.

Saturday - Show & Tell - Children  bring in that something special to show their friends in the CHILD  WATCH ROOM!!!
