Private Lessons
Private lessons are available for all ages and abilities with one of our certified Swim Instructors.  Private lessons are 30-minutes in length and will focus on particular skills that you wish to improve upon.  Lessons are sold in packages of 4-8 lessons.  Download a contract.

Red Cross Life Guarding Course
Pre-requisites: must complete 500-yard swim, tread water, and retrieve brick from bottom.  Course includes: pocket mask, First Aid, CPR for Professional Rescuer, AED, and Oxygen administration.  More details on COMMUNITY PAGE.  Next course in June!

SCUBA DIVING CLASSES!

Have you ever dreamed of exploring the world under the waves?  The Roxborough YMCA is proud to team with the Atlantic Edge Dive Center to offer scuba diving classes.  At the completion of 2 days (8 hours in the pool and 8 hours in the classroom) individuals will need 4 "check out" dives to earn a PADI Open Water Diver certification. 
Classes will be held at the Roxborough YMCA on June 21st and 22nd, July 19th and 20th, August 16th and 17th and September 20th and 21st.

ADULT AQUATIC PROGRAMS
Our Adult Aquatic Programs include group classes, lessons and lap swimming.

Home school Gym and Swim
This class is designed for children who are home-schooled.  Every Friday afternoon, home-schooled students, along with their parents, may come to the YMCA and participate in organized activities in our gymnasium, including our rock wall.  After the gym, students and parents will move to the pool for an hour of free swim-time.

Roxborough YMCA Polar Bears Swim Team
The Polar Bears Swim Team is a pre-competitive team that meets two days a week for one-hour.  Team members will compete in several scheduled meets throughout the season.
Tuesday and Thursday 6-7 PM
FP: $60 Youth Prog: $120

SWIM LESSON MAKE-UP POLICY:  Swim lesson make-ups must be scheduled through the Aquatics Director.  Please do not attend another class as it upsets the ratios in scheduled lessons.  If you have not been given approval to attend a different lesson you will not be permitted to attend.  Thank You.
