DROP OFF/PICK UP PROCEDURES:
In an effort to make camp drop off and pick up as safe and convenient as possible for the parents and children, the following procedures will be implemented beginning Monday, June 30th at 7:00 a.m.
Drop -Off: 7-9 AM
Follow the YMCA driveway past the front entrance toward the back, fenced parking areas and the cones will outline the traffic pattern. A counselor will come to your car window and ask for the name of your child and check them off the list. The counselor in a bright yellow shirt will then go to the passenger side of the car and assist the camper to exit the vehicle and guide them to their camp group.
Late Drop – Off: after 9:00 a.m.
If your child is being dropped off after 9:00 AM, you must park and take your child to the front desk and sign-in. The Camp Director will be contacted to come to the lobby and take the child to the appropriate location of the group.
Pick-Up
Parents or registered care givers (must be on file through the registration packet) will go to the same location as the drop off and will need to show identification to the counselor in order to pick up a child. You will be given a ticket and asked to pull forward. The counselors will radio to one-another for your child to be brought to the gate where you will give the counselor the ticket (verification that your i.d. has been checked) and pick up your child.
* These procedures are to ensure the safety of all campers and require full compliance by all parents, guardians or registered assistants. Your cooperation and understanding is greatly appreciated.
