Our Core Values

 

Camp Fees:

The fee for most camps is $145 per week. Parents eligible

for 3rd party assistance are only responsible for payment

of the parent co-pay for each week of camp.

In order to participate in camp, each child needs a current

YMCA membership. A program membership for youth is

$50 annually.

 

Late Fees:

Payment in full for each camp week must be made by the

close of business on the Friday before the following week

of camp. Payment not received by this date will result in

a $25 per child late fee which must be paid in full before a

child is allowed to attend camp.

 

Down Payments:

You may pay a $30 per week non-refundable down

payment for each child who you would like to attend our

day camp programs. The balance for weeks the down

payment was made is due by the Friday before the

following week of service. Failure to do so may result in

your child loosing his/her place that particular week.

 

Registration Procedures:

Registration for Day Camp begins March 1, 2007 and

may be made at the YMCA during regular facility hours or

during one of the Day Camp Open House events. A Day

Camp registration packet is available at the YMCA front

desk or on our website at www.westymca.org and must be

completed fully as part of the registration process.

Note: All 3rd party assistance paperwork (CCIS/DPW/Grants)

must be completed and approved prior to enrollment.

 

Financial Assistance:

Every year, the YMCA works hard to raise funds through

our Strong Kids Campaign to ensure that every child has

an opportunity to attend camp regardless of financial

circumstance. If you need help with the payment of any

portion of camp fees, ask a staff member for a financial

assistance application form. Financial assistance is given

on a first come first served basis. Please submit the

application information early.

 

Refund Policy:

After Friday at 5 PM, no refunds or camp week exchanges

will be given for the following week for any reason. All

other refund requests will be granted at the discretion of

the Executive Director. Refunds are paid within four weeks

of the request.

Please avoid bringing cell phones, electronic devices,

jewelry, sandals and slippers. The YMCA will in no way be

responsible for lost or stolen property.
