Job Title: Maintenance Manager

Range: $27,210 - 34,884--43,256
Position Purpose:
Under the direction of the Executive Director provide technical and physical support for building, grounds and equipment of the YMCA. Maintain all interior and exterior systems, facilities and operations in accordance with established standards and protocol. Adhere to a preventative maintenance, cleaning and enhancement schedule to assure the safety and security of YMCA personnel and clientele. Provide direction, training and supervision to maintenance and housekeeping and other relative staff.
Oversee safety and security for facility. Advise management of the short term and long term maintenance issues and participate in planning for facility improvements. Manage projects, contractors and vendor relationships to assure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
Attend to all issues regarding the safety and security of the building.
Requirements:
· Technical high school or equivalent with 3-5 years of building maintenance experience.
· Obtain CPO and Pesticide Applicator license. Skilled trade certification in electric, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry.
· Knowledge of landscaping and plant care.
· Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders and scaffolding.
· Valid drivers license. CDL a plus
· Ability to read and write.
· Ability to supervise and train staff and volunteers.
· Ability to organize projects, prepare budget and timetables and deliver cost effective result.
