Program Director Child Care and Day Camp

Range: $29,000-$33,000

Position Purpose:
Assist Senior Child Care Director as needed with the administration and quality of the school age child care program. Provide leadership and development for summer camp programs. Ensure program quality through staff supervision, staff selection, training and development. Participate in developing regular staff feedback programs. Ensure compliance with licensing and association policies and procedures.
Requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field with experience or Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of three years experience working in a supervisory position. Experience in achieving the Keystone Star quality designations. Certified trainer or willing to pursue certification.
- Ability to operate PC and use spreadsheets, word processing and related software.
- Experience in programming summer camps.
- Experience in working with volunteer boards, committees, and in providing leadership to groups
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational and management skills required.
