Participate in the development and management of member services that is responsive to our member needs for the Rocky Run and Garnet Valley welcome centers. Develop, manage and implement sales plans for corporate memberships and Garnet Valley pool memberships. Assist with all activities associated with retention, sales, program promotion and staff development. Assist in overseeing the staff management within the department. Assist in developing an environment within the facility that makes members feel a sense of belonging, ownership and involvement. Identify opportunities to collaborate and partnership with other organizations.
Position Requires a Bachelor’s degree in related field with a minimum of 2-3 years of related experience. YMCA Director Certification preferred
Excellent customer service skills, supervision, organization, welcome center desk management, membership development, and membership retention skills.
Experience in developing relationships with members, volunteers, business, organizations and etc. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to read, write, operates PCs and telephones, and lift and carry 50 lbs. Ability to make presentations to members, volunteers and community organizations.
CPR, Child Abuse Prevention Training, First Aid and YMCA Orientation within 3 months of hire.
Ability to use Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point and Publisher) and Lotus Notes.
