Reach new heights in the Poconos! Camp Speers YMCA is a summer camp where kids can unplug and connect to nature, fun, and new friendships. It’s a place where the Y values of respect, responsibility, caring, and honesty are woven into everything we do.

Camp Speers Location

Camp Speers embraces 1,100 beautifully forested acres in the heart of the Pocono Mountains. At the center of Camp, 42-acre Lake Nichecronk offers a natural environment to explore and enjoy. Located just a few miles from the Delaware National Water Gap and a couple hours from downtown Philadelphia and New York City, Camp Speers continues to offer the perfect mountain get-away for campers and families.

Our camp serves families from Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.

Need a ride to overnight camp? Camp Speers offers a bus from the Roxborough YMCA (7201 Ridge Ave Philadelphia, PA 19128) each week on Sunday. The bus returns on Friday and costs $60 each way.

Overnight Camp

Sending your child to overnight camp at Camp Speers YMCA is one in a lifetime experience they will cherish for years to come! Your camper will develop confidence and a sense of independence while they swim, climb, play sports, be creative, learn social skills, and just have fun!

Day Camp

Camp Speers has exciting day camp programs for children Pre-K to tenth grade. Campers select a variety of activities to create a schedule within their camp group like rock climbing, mountain biking, kayaking, sailing, archery, high ropes, and so much more.

Adaptive Camp

Adaptive Camp is a traditional overnight program for kids with Autism and 22Q. We make camp a reality for as many families as possible by partnering with parents and experts in the medical field to provide accommodations for our campers that allow them to relax and have fun!
