  • Protected entryway with key fob system
  • CCTV cameras in all classrooms and hallways
  • Full-time director on site with additional layers of leadership oversight and operational support
  • Regulated and licensed by the state and participate in state Quality Rating Systems
  • Follow the rule of 3 at all times - two staff and one child or one staff and 2 children

What happens in a typical day for children in Y programs?

In a typical day, children are provided with hands-on, playful, developmentally appropriate experiences both indoors and out. Instruction builds upon prior learning and developed skills as children age up through the program, ensuring readiness for learning and entry into Kindergarten.

Children go outside every day, when the temperature is between 25 – 90 degrees, and there is no active precipitation or advisory to stay indoors.

How do teachers communicate with parents and families?

Daily communication is provided through Tadpoles, a home and school app that supports two-way communication and sharing of resources, information, and photos.

What qualifications do your teachers have?

All staff meet or exceed state requirements and have access to continuous education and training.

What is naeyc accreditation?

The National Association for the Education of Young Children (naeyc) is a professional membership organization that works to promote high-quality early learning for all young children, birth through age 8, by connecting early childhood practice, policy, and research.

By offering clear definitions of quality, naeyc’s Early Childhood Program Standards help families make informed decisions about their child’s early education, and help programs ensure they are safe, well-prepared, and intentional about fostering the joy, development, and learning of every child.
