Join us in the lobby to refuel courtesy of the Mobile Barista!
We're excited to share that Mobile Barista, an extension of the Barista Buddies program, is coming to the Willow Grove YMCA to host a mini coffee shop for our members! Stop by to meet the team and to buy a cup of coffee to support their program.
Menu:

Cash and credit cards are accepted.

We will welcome this mobile coffee shop in the lobby at the Willow Grove YMCA.

More about Mobile Barista Program:
Mobile Barista is an extension of our Barista Buddies program housed in the MCIU building located in Norristown, PA. Barista Buddies is a fully functioning coffee shop for individuals of all abilities to learn the skills of working in a coffee shop in a controlled environment. Mobile Barista is branching out to the YMCA to provide the same great service while learning new skills of working with the general public. This new partnership now provides our students with various abilities to problem solve and serve while learning the skills of socially appropriate interactions in the community. The students involved are MCIU transition students for area school districts across Montgomery County. By providing these new opportunities, the MCIU and the YMCA are preparing these students with the training they will need to be employable in the future.
The Montgomery County Intermediate Unit, a dynamic educational service agency, provides visionary leadership, impactful services, and strategic solutions that maximize access and opportunities for all learners.
