Swim Bands at the Ambler Y

It's time for our annual swim band retest!

We want your children to be confident in their skills and safe in the water. We retest once a year because we have found that children who have not been swimming throughout the winter may struggle when being reintroduced to the water during the spring and summer.

All youth ages 16 and under must be swim tested. Retesting for the 2024 season begins on April 20, 2024.

To begin your test, please see a lifeguard in the indoor pool area.

Where:

Testing will take place in the indoor pools at the Ambler YMCA.

When:

Tests can be completed beginning April 20, 2024. All members ages 16 and under will need to retest before entering the pool after that date.
