Your teens can participate in an immersive club focused on political affairs!
Youth and Government is a student-led and student-run mock government program where participants experience what it is like to run the state of Pennsylvania. Students will act as Representatives or Senators, write bills, debate, and pass legislation to be signed by the Youth Governor.

Ambler YMCA:
Join us to learn more about this new program! We're hosting an informational session for parents and teens to learn more about the program, annual conferences, what you can expect to learn, and how to participate.
Where:
Meet us in the Conference Room at the Ambler YMCA.
When:
This info night will be held on Monday, February 12, 2024, from 4:30 - 6:00 PM.
Our regular program will begin in mid-February! This program is open to students in grades 7 - 12. Participants are expected to attend the Pennsylvania Youth & Government Conference in Harrisburg, PA from April 18 - 21, 2024.
Where:
Our program sessions will be held at the Ambler YMCA.
When:
Regular meetings will be held on Mondays from 4:30 - 6:00 PM from February 19 - April 22, 2024.

Christian Street YMCA:
Our regular program will begin in mid-February! This program is open to students in grades 7 - 12. Participants are expected to attend the Pennsylvania Youth & Government Conference in Harrisburg, PA from April 18 - 21, 2024.

Our program sessions will be held at the Christian Street YMCA.
When:
Regular meetings will be held on Tuesdays from 4:30 - 6:00 PM from February 20 - April 23, 2024.

West Philadelphia YMCA:
Our regular program will begin in mid-February! This program is open to students in grades 7 - 12. Participants are expected to attend the Pennsylvania Youth & Government Conference in Harrisburg, PA from April 18 - 21, 2024.

Our program sessions will be held at the West Philadelphia YMCA.
When:
Regular meetings will be held on Wednesdays from 5:30 - 7:00 PM from February 21 - April 24, 2024.
