Youth Programs

You asked. We listened! Open Gymnastics is now on the schedule! We know our Y community loves gymnastics, so we added Open Gymnastics time to our offerings for members. 

Put on those dancing shoes and get ready for our next recital program! We offer recital program options for kids and teens ages 3 - 18, and all experience levels are welcome. This recital track includes approximately 30 classes, a dress rehearsal, and a recital.

New programs means more opportunities for your kids to explore their interests and develop their skills! We're excited to share that we're adding a variety of new programs to our schedule for the early fall season!Programs are open to members and non-members. Registration is required.

Join our Spring Valley Y Shooting Stars program! The Shooting Stars program is focused on ensuring children with special needs can be included in organized sports. Volunteer coaches work with your child to develop their athletic skills, learn to work as a team, and socialize with others.

New season, new programs! Register your child for awesome programs this fall! From swim lessons to art and everything in between, our fall program schedule is packed with classes that allow your child to dive into their favorite activities or discover a brand new hobby! 

We're teaming up with the Philadelphia Union to bring Union Rec soccer to Media! Union Rec is a recreational program that provides girls and boys with a fun, affordable, local neighborhood soccer experience. 

Calling all aspiring dancers! we're hosting a new dance summer intensive program! This two week long class will introduce new dancers to the program as well as help seasoned dancers condition for the fall recital season.

Fall Sports Leagues are back at the Y!

We're so excited to offer a FREE eight-week gymnastics program at our BRAND NEW gymnastics center in Havertown! This program is open to members of the Christian Street YMCA, Columbia North YMCA, and West Philadelphia YMCA, who are between the ages of 6 and 12.
