Our Phoenixville YMCA gymnasts traveled to Green Bay, Wisconsin to compete at the YMCA National Gymnastics Championships in June. The Xcel Diamond team placed second overall. Two gymnasts claimed all-around national titles and four gymnasts won six individual event titles.

Eleven-year-old Madison Walker had a dream. “I’ve wanted a placard in the (Phoenixville YMCA) lobby since I first saw them.”A regular at the Y literally since birth, “Madi” feels very much at home there. “We love the Y. We’re here all the time”, her mom, Christine says.

The Phoenixville YMCA is thrilled to announce that longtime gymnastics coach Murdina Misson has been named the Eastern PA YMCA Coach of the Year—a prestigious honor recognizing her nearly three decades of leadership, mentorship, and passion.
