Philadelphia, PA — Monday, 03/10/25 — The Greater Philadelphia YMCA is inviting young women, teens and their parents to an afternoon of insight and inspiration, as it holds a Women’s Empowerment Forum on March 29, 2025 at 11:00am at the Simon Gratz High School Auditorium (1798 W. Hunting Park Avenue).

Join the YMCA, and TransportationYOU, for a special afternoon focused on women's empowerment. Professional women from a wide array of industries and backgrounds will share triumphs, challenges and wisdom from their careers. The panel discussion will be followed by a Q&A and networking opportunities.

This Women’s Empowerment Forum is a presentation of the Greater Philadelphia YMCA’s Achievers Program, a college preparation and career-readiness program designed to help youth reach their fullest potential. The Achievers program encourages teens to raise academic standards and explore diverse college and career options. Teens also develop a positive sense of self, build character, and interact with professionals who serve as role models. Meeting times and dates vary by branch location in the Greater Philadelphia area and include field trips such as campus tours and industry visits.

This Women’s Empowerment Forum is free and open to the community. Registration is required at this link. Lunch is included. Teens are welcome to attend with an accompanying parent or guardian. The event is scheduled from 11:00 am to 3:00pm.
