We're enjoying some time in the great outdoors this season! Switch up your workout routine and add in one of our below pop-up group hikes!
Please bring water, hiking boots or sturdy footwear, and sunscreen. Snacks, sunglasses, and hats are optional.
The hikes are open to members and non-members. Registration is not required. Anyone under 18 should be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Group Hikes:
Get ready for a bit of history, some moderate hills, and a few rocky steps as we explore Hermit's Cave and the Lincoln Drive Loop. Registration is not required. This event is open to members and non-members.
Where:
We'll be hiking through Wissahickon Valley Park along the Hermit's Cave and Lincoln Drive Loop.
Please meet at 5000 Hermit Lane, Philadelphia 19128.
When:
Hike with us on Saturday, September 13, 2025. We'll meet at the trailhead at 10:00 AM and set off on the trail at 10:15 AM.
Carpool Info:
Transportation is not provided by the Y. Members are responsible for and encouraged to carpool or ride share with other attendees.
For those hoping to carpool, we will meet at the Y in Studio 3 at 9:00 AM on Saturday, October 4, and will leave the Y promptly at 9:30 AM.
We're closing out this season of our amazing group hikes with one last gathering to welcome the beautiful colors of autumn at Longwood Gardens!
Tickets:
Advance Timed Ticket purchase is required. Onsite ticketing is only available if they are not sold out for that time the day of visit.
Please select Tickets for 11:00 AM self-guided general admission, after entry you may stay as long as the gardens are open. However, there is no re-entry after leaving.
Ticket pricing:
- Adults 19+ years = $32 per ticket
- Senior 65+ years = $28 per ticket
- Youth 5-18 years = $17 per ticket
- SNAP/EBT/PA ACCESS Cardholders = $2 per ticket (Officially issued card and matching Photo ID required. Max 4 people per card.)
