We're hosting an eight-week culinary course with our partners at the City of Camden and Rutgers University Camden! This course teaches youth essential culinary skills while focusing on food safety.
Students will learn the basics of handling and preparing food safely using the ServSafe program, along with practical cooking techniques through hands-on instruction and demonstrations. Each week, students will build skills to prepare meals safely and confidently, while also learning about nutrition and healthy eating. Participants will need to attend all eight classes to complete the lessons for the ServSafe exam.
Youth ages 13 - 18 are invited to join us for this FREE program.
Where:
Classes are held at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center (1151 Haddon Avenue, Camden, NJ 08103).
When:
Join us from 4 - 7 PM on Thursdays between January 8 - March 25, 2026.
