Get ready for our summer swim season! The Greater Philadelphia YMCA Swim Team spans three Philadelphia YMCAs and the next season kicks off in June!
We welcome members and non-members ages 5 - 18 to sign up for evaluations before joining the team.
Evaluated swimmers are welcome to register for our summer session. Attendance at all practice times is highly encouraged.
Evaluations:
Swimmers must be able to complete one length of the pool in freestyle or backstroke. Registration is required for evaluations. Evaluations are free.
- Tuesday, June 2, 2026 from 6:00 - 7:30 PM at Christian Street YMCA
- Thursday, June 4, 2026 from 6:00 - 7:30 PM at Christian Street YMCA

Level 1
- Mondays from 5:30 - 6:30 PM at West Phiadelphia YMCA
- Tuesdays from 6:00 - 7:00 PM at Christian Street YMCA
- Wednesdays from 6:30 - 7:15 PM at Columbia North YMCA
- Thursdays from 6:00 - 7:00 PM at Christian Street YMCA
Level 2
- Mondays from 6:30 - 8:00 PM at West Phiadelphia YMCA
- Tuesdays from 7:00 - 8:30 PM at Christian Street YMCA
- Wednesdays from 7:15 - 8:30 PM at Columbia North YMCA
- Thursdays from 7:00 - 8:30 PM at Christian Street YMCA

Cost:
The cost of registration includes a swim cap. Insurance Membership discounts and Financial Assistance discounts will apply.
Level 1: $315 - two payments of $157.50. The first is due at registration and the second is due June 15, 2026.
Level 2: $350 - two payments of $175.00. The first is due at registration and the second is due June 15, 2026.
How to register:
All interested swimmers must register for evaluations before signing upfor the swim team. Once evaluated, they will receive a link to register for the applicable team.
