What do parents have to say?

"We cannot say enough about the Boyertown YMCA Youth Basketball program. All three of our children participated in the program for many years starting at the age of 5 or 6. The YMCA program was very well organized and created an atmosphere for children to grow to love the sport of basketball.

Our daughters continued to play at a higher level with travel & AAU basketball and Boyertown Senior High school basketball. My son played through middle school and AAU until the YMCA provided a senior high school league. He played for two years. This was by far the most fun he and his friends had playing basketball. These young men still talk about it today.

The YMCA basketball program was always packed with families and students cheering on their kids, loved ones, and friends. Parents were so happy to have their senior high school students playing basketball. Our family was very thankful for the high school program and felt Bruce did a great job promoting this program. He engaged with all the students and was always looking for ways to make it exciting.

As a coach in the program for many years, I felt everything was very organized and professional. The YMCA staff took pride in developing the young athletes’ skills while emphasizing discipline and team unity. The YMCA program gave our kids constant encouragement, a healthy environment for success, life skills, and basketball skills. We HIGHLY recommend this basketball program. It was worth every penny and all the time we dedicated to the program.

Thank you to the YMCA for providing this great atmosphere."
