As we reflect on the 2025–2026 YMCA competitive gymnastics season, I am proud to introduce the Greater Philadelphia YMCA National Gymnastics Team:
- Ajwa Abdul-Rahman
- Amina Bradley
- Coltrane Devereux
- Emori Overton
- Hannah Wycoff-Colon
- Lydian Zweiman
- Savanna Little
- Xitlali Gonzalez-Moise
Looking back on this season, I could never have imagined how far this remarkable group of athletes would come. In December, many of these gymnasts were competing for the very first time. By the time they reached the YMCA National Championships, they had grown tremendously—not only in skill and confidence, but also in resilience, determination, and teamwork. Watching their progress has been one of the greatest joys of my 28-plus years in coaching.
The 2026 YMCA National Gymnastics Championships in Greensboro, North Carolina, presented a significant step up in competition. Our athletes faced larger fields and deeper levels of talent than they had encountered throughout the season. Despite the challenge, they rose to the occasion with courage and pride.
