CONA delegates spend a week at the Blue Ridge YMCA in North Carolina debating and collaborating with other high school students. Delates engage in discussions around issues regarding international and national policies, experience new and different ideas, and grow their public speaking and communication skills.
Program Details
The CONA program requires students to apply after participating in NJ YAG. This weeklong conference in North Carolina brings government students together from across the country. If selected as a delegate for CONA, students will receive support to develop their proposals before the conference in July.

How to get involved!
Students must participate in the NJ YAG program in order to be eligible to attend CONA. During the program year for NJ YAG, an application process for CONA will be available to participants. Staff will review the applications and announce the attendees during the final conference of NJ YAG.
