CATCH (Coordinated Approach to Child Health) Global Foundation is a charity founded in 2014 to increase the availability and adoption of evidence-based health programs. Camden Y has introduced CATCH to Camden schools with great success! Students have enjoyed participating in non-tradition sports and activities such as ultimate frisbee, floor hockey and whiffle ball. In addition, this program also weaves in components of character development by teaching health communication and team building activities.

Program Details

Our CATCH program begins with a warm-up or group discussion. We then move into a team building activity that incorporates physical activity and healthy communication skills so participants can develop their social skills while being active while learning how to lead a healthy lifestyle. We finish program days with a closing discussion.

CATCH programs are offered to students ages 8 - 13 at schools in Camden.

How to get involved!

CATCH partners with local schools and runs programming during the academic day or in an after school setting. We also run summer programs to keep kids active all year long!

CATCH programs are free to all participants.
