Happy 20th Anniversary to Rocky Run YMCA!
Twenty years ago, we opened our doors to our wonderful neighbors.
Since then we've gone through dozens of upgrades and expansions to our facilities and our programs. What started as a plot of land and an office has become a 30-acre community center with indoor pools, child care centers, the latest in exercise equipment, fitness studios, outdoor courts & fields, pavilions, and even a ropes course!
As we celebrate our 20th Anniversary, we celebrate the team members who have made the Y so much to so many people- including Vicki Childs, who worked with us for over 30 years. We recently dedicated one of our Child Care rooms to Vicki in celebration of what she means to this community.
Join us in the lobby on October 18, 21, and 23 for Member Celebrations! We'll have giveaways, prizes, activities, and more!
We're so proud of what has been accomplished at this Y, from countless swim lesson graduations to staff members who've grown into leaders and all the health journeys that have taken place here.
We can't wait to see what the next 20 years will bring!
