We are honored to be receiving the highest recognition given by the U.S. Government to employers.
The Greater Philadelphia YMCA is receiving the Secretary of Defense Employer Support Seven Seals Award after a nomination by former Willow Grove YMCA employee and current Delaware Air National Guard and 166 Force Support Squadron member, Kelly Leibolt.
The Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award is the highest recognition given by the U.S. Government to employers for their support of their employees who serve in the Guard and Reserve. Within this recognition is the Seven Seals Award, presented in recognition of significant individual or organizational achievement, initiative, or support that promotes and supports the ESGR mission.
Our employees are the heart of our organization, and we value their service to our organization, our community, and in many cases, our nation.
The Greater Philadelphia YMCA formally receives the award on August 9, at the 2023 ESGR Employer and Service Member Awards Luncheon at the Keystone Conference Center in Fort Indiantown Gap, Annville, PA.
Our Willow Grove YMCA Executive Director was previously recognized for his support of the National Guard and Reserve program as he received the Patriot Award in May 2022.
