Our Phoenixville YMCA gymnasts took home 10 awards at the Liberty Cup!
Twenty-six gymnasts from the Phoenixville YMCA gymnastics team completed at the Liberty Cup held in Oaks, PA this past weekend. Over 1000 gymnasts from the region competed at this gymnastics meet. The Excel Platinum team placed first and the Excel Diamond team was third. The Phoenixville gymnastics team had 10 all-around or individual event champions!
Platinum - 1st place team
- Juliana Alcantara (12 and under) - 1st floor
- Iris Tzou (12 and under) - 2nd bars
- Haylee Kallal (12 and under) - 1st vault, 3rd bars, 2nd AA
- Paige Mcleod (13) - 1st beam, 2nd bars, 3rd floor, 1st AA
- Amanda Gellert (13) - 2nd beam, 1st floor
- Annie McGonigal (14) - 3rd Vault, 3rd bars, 3rd beam, 3rd AA
- Abigail Rose (14) - 2nd vault
- Tori Quintois (16 and up) - 3rd vault, 3rd beam, 3rd AA
Diamond - 3rd place team
- Jasmine D’Angelo (13 and under) - 2nd vault
- Valentina Martinez (14) - 1st vault
- Emmy Smith (14) - 3rd floor
- Lily Newcomb (16) - 1st bars
- Becca Martz (16) - 2nd vault, 1st beam, 1st AA
- Addison Hawks (16) - 3rd on beam
- Alexa Irons (16) - 3rd vault
- Frankie Vitelli (17 and up) - 1st beam, 3rd AA
