The Willow Grove YMCA Twisters gymnastics Diamond team won first place and the level 4 team placed third at the Christmas City Classic this past weekend at the Moravian University in Bethlehem, PA. This was the first team title at a USA Gymnastics (USAG) invitational in Twisters history. The Christmas City Classic was also the first USAG state qualifier of the season. The Twisters qualified twenty-five gymnasts to the 2023 USAG Pennsylvania State Championships.

- Level 8: Junior Division: Payten Sullivan won the floor title (9.350). Sydney Jones placed third on floor (9.150). Senior Division: Hannah Winters placed first on vault (9.3). Remi Sasson placed second on vault (9.025).
- Xcel Gold: Senior A Division: Avery Godburn placed second on floor (9.175) and third on bars (9.325).
- Xcel Platinum: Marissa Woodling placed second on floor (9.3).

Mubarak has over two decades of expertise in gymnastics and acrobatics. He coaches young athletes to achieve their dreams while having fun in the sport. His career includes tenure as a stuntman at Walt Disney World Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular Show, and a key role in winning the 2005 NCAA Gymnastics Team Championship for the University of Oklahoma. Mubarak is a graduate in Political Science, and he enjoys motorsports and quality time with his family.
