Don't miss out on winter sports leagues! Join the fun this season and register your child for a season of sports, teamwork, and friendly competition! These are beginner to intermediate, competitive sports programs where children will learn the basic fundamentals and sportsmanship while having fun!

Winter Sports League Schedule:
Family Member Registration Opens: October 23, 2026
General Registration Opens: October 14, 2026
Registration Closes: December 27, 2026
Leagues Begin: As early as January 4, 2027
Leagues End: As late as February 28, 2027

Leagues Available:
Basketball Leagues
This is a competitive sports program for girls and boys. This league will consist of one session for gameplay and another optional session for additional skill development. Our team members will schedule the optional skill session based upon gym and player availability.
League Options:
Youth leagues are available for the below ages:
- Preschool - ages 3-5
- Kindergarten to first grade - ages 5-7
- Second grade - ages 7-8
- Third to fourth grade boys - ages 8-10
- Third to fourth grade girls - ages 8-10
Our teen league is available for ages 15-18.
Basketball Leagues
Basketball leagues at the Spring Valley YMCA consist of both instructional practices and gameplay to apply the skills they learn. Volunteer coaches & YMCA staff will teach participants the skills they need to be successful in a fun environment! In addition – all participants receive a league jersey!
Games will be on Saturdays with the start time based on your child's age group and schedule sent before the season.

Pickleball League
Grab your paddles and join us for some friendly competition!
All levels are welcome. Teams will compete against other teams of similar ability levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced).
Teams may consist of up to 3 participants. The registration fee will be paid by each team member separately.
During the registration process, the registering team member will be prompted to name two (2) additional teammates and their team's ability level to complete registration. Without at least two (2) registered teammates present, a team must forfeit to their opponent.
Other league rules and regulations will be communicated to the registering team member's email address on file prior to the league start date.
There are seven weeks of regular season play and one week of play offs and championship games.
