The Y is proud to offer swim teams at branches across the Greater Philadelphia region. Our goal is to provide a positive, safe, fun environment where each swimmer can learn and grow, both as an individual swimmer and as a teammate. We strive to have each swimmer enjoy being a member of our team, achieve their individual competitive swim goals to the best of their abilities, and simply enjoy swimming!
Swim Team Evaluations
Each swim team across the Greater Philadelphia Y holds evaluations to determine swimmers are ready to join the team and to place them in the appropriate level. Upcoming evaluation dates and info about the evaluation process are available below.
Registration is required and limited space is available. The evaluation is free and you do not need to be a member to register for and attend the evaluation. However, if your swimmer is told by coaching staff they are ready and do continue on, the swimmer must become a full privilege member and will be charged the price of clinic and/or team.
When: August 13 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM or by appointment with Coach Raynelle in 2nd half of August.
Ages: 5-18

When: June 24, July 8, July 15 from 11 AM - 12 PM | July 3, July 17 from 3 PM - 4 PM | July 1, July 15, July 22 from 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Ages: 6-18

When: August 10, August 12, August 13 from 5:00 PM - 7:30 PM (only need to attend one date).
Ages: 5-18

When: September 15, 16, and 17: 10 and under from 5:00 PM - 5:45 PM | 11 and older from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM (must attend all three dates).
Ages: 6-18
