
Whether you're a first-timer or returning to your Tai Chi or Qigong practice, we invite you to the Y to experience the calming and energizing benefits of these ancient wellness traditions through a pop-up demo class. Experienced instructors will lead you through each movement.
This event is open to members and their guests. All ages and experience levels are welcome. Registration is not required.
Tai Chi is a series of gentle movements that stimulate, circulate, and balance internal energy. Beneficial results are obtained regardless of age, physical condition, or agility.
Qigong is a combo of “Qi”, which is translated to mean a person’s “vital energy” and “gong” which means "to exercise or work". The standing static & slow dynamic choreographed movements of Qigong integrate the entire body, and are known to improve the overall physical, emotional and mental health of people of ALL ages.
