Interested in building robots? Sign up for this FREE program offered by Temple University's College of Science and Technology! In SeaPerch, you'll design and build an underwater robot (ROV) and learn how engineers solve problems using science, technology, and teamwork.
This program is open to middle and high school students. Registration is required. Students will not get in the water or need to know how to swim. The program will be held on the pool deck using remote controls.
What you'll do:
- Build an underwater robot from scratch
- Learn about motors, buoyancy, and propulsion
- Control your robot with a wired controller
- Work in teams like real engineers
- Prepare for an end-of-program competition
Where:
Program sessions are held at the Columbia North YMCA Best Buy Teen Tech Center.
When:
Join us from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM on Sundays from February 22 through March 22, 2026. The competition is held on March 27, 2026.
