Does your student want to develop leadership skills, build confidence in public speaking, and make their voice heard? Our Youth Civic Engagement (YCE) program gives teens in grades 7-12 the opportunity to explore how government works, practice real-world leadership, and connect with peers from across the Mid-Atlantic region.
Through fun, engaging sessions, students will:
- Learn how government and global diplomacy work.
- Practice debate, public speaking, and collaborative problem-solving.
- Write their own bills and resolutions on issues they care about.
Prepare to participate in statewide and regional conferences, including:
- Model United Nations (MUN) – January 9–11, 2026
- Youth & Government (YAG) – April 16–19, 2026
Whether your student dreams of being a lawyer, public servant, diplomat, or just wants to grow their confidence and leadership, YCE is a place where they can find their voice and make an impact.
